Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SellByte website, checkout, accounts, and related support channels (together, the “Services”). By browsing, creating an account, or placing an order on sellbyte.in, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Who we are

SellByte operates an online storefront for original digital downloads and selected professional services in India. For questions about these Terms, email support@sellbyte.in or use the Contact page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into a purchase.

3. Accounts and guest checkout

You may shop as a guest when guest checkout is enabled, or create an account to track orders and downloads. You are responsible for keeping login details confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that appear abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.

4. Digital products — no physical shipping

Unless clearly stated otherwise, products sold on SellByte are digital files (for example PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, or ZIP bundles). There is no courier delivery. Delivery happens by secure download from your order confirmation / account downloads area, and sometimes by email notice.

Product pages describe what is included. Delivery is typically instant after successful payment. Timelines are estimates, not guaranteed SLAs. Delays can happen due to payment review, technical issues, or incorrect contact details.

5. Original content and license

Unless a product page says otherwise, digital kits are created and published by SellByte. When you buy a kit you receive a personal-use license: you may edit templates for your own work, studies, freelancing, or small business.

You may not resell, publicly redistribute, or re-upload the kit (or substantial parts of it) as your own product, or remove SellByte copyright / license notices.

Some templates (invoices, sample agreements, trackers) are educational starting points only. They are not legal, tax, or CA advice and are not GST filing software.

6. AI prompt products

AI prompt packs teach workflows and provide prompt text you can run in your preferred AI tools. SellByte delivers the prompt files and guides — not AI platform subscriptions.

7. Professional services

Website, logo, SEO, WhatsApp API, and similar services are inquiry-based. Scope, price, and timeline are agreed separately before work starts and are not the same as instant digital downloads.

8. Pricing, taxes, coupons, and availability

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise. We may change prices, discounts, flash sales, and availability at any time before you complete payment. An order is not confirmed until payment is successfully captured and marked paid in our system.

Coupons have their own rules (minimum order, first-order only, exclusions, expiry). We may cancel a coupon discount applied in error or obtained through abuse.

9. Payments

Payments are either online at checkout through the payment providers enabled in store settings, or offline via WhatsApp / manual UPI when those options are turned on. You authorise the selected method to charge the order total. SellByte does not store full card numbers on its servers.

10. Order acceptance, cancellation, and fraud review

We may refuse, cancel, or delay any order if we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, stolen payment instruments, or other misuse. If we cancel before fulfilment, we will refund eligible captured payments through the original method where possible.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site to commit fraud, money laundering, or unauthorised card use;

  • attempt to break into accounts, scrape the site aggressively, or disrupt our systems;

  • redistribute or resell our digital files in violation of the personal-use license;

  • harass staff or other customers;

  • submit false dispute claims or chargebacks without first contacting support with a genuine issue;

  • use purchased materials for illegal activity.

12. Intellectual property

The SellByte name, storefront design, product copy, graphics, and the digital files we publish are protected. You may not copy the site, clone listings at scale, or use our branding without permission.

13. Support

Support is provided on a commercially reasonable basis via email, contact form, and WhatsApp when enabled. Keep your order number ready.

14. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. Digital goods that have been successfully downloaded are often non-refundable except for file defects or our delivery error.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated, the Services and products are provided on an “as available” basis. Educational outcomes (for example getting a job or winning clients) are not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, implied warranties are excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SellByte and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including lost profits or business interruption.

Our total liability for a claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid to SellByte for that order, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SellByte from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or illegal use of downloaded materials.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections that apply to you. Before filing a formal dispute, contact support@sellbyte.in and allow a reasonable time for us to investigate.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms for future visits and orders.
